SIMEDHealth's Gainesville Laboratory is hiring a Full Time Laboratory Technologist on-site to perform chemistry, hematology, immunology, virology, and toxicology testing for our large provider network.

The role requires a Florida CLS license in Chemistry/Hematology/Immunology, ASCP MT is a plus, at least 2 years of lab experience, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills; schedule options include Mon-Fri 9:00–5:30 or Mon-Thu 7:00–5:00.

Qualifications

• Current Florida License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in Chemistry, Hematology, and Immunology (Serology).
• ASCP Medical Technologist certification is a plus.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a healthcare laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and moderately complex laboratory testing with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure reliability of results through quality control and adherence to established procedures.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Process and prepare specimens for testing and referral.
• Communicate critical results clearly and in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed documentation of testing, QC, and maintenance activities.
• Support a clean, organized, and safety-focused laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with a team of technologists and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Join Our Dynamic Lab Team as a Full Time Laboratory Technologist in Gainesville!

SIMEDHealth's busy Gainesville Laboratory is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Full Time Laboratory Technologist (on-site). You'll play a vital role in providing essential chemistry, hematology, immunology, virology, and toxicology testing services that support the care of our large network of over 100 SIMEDHealth providers.

As a key member of our laboratory team, you will utilize your expertise in technical principles and equipment operation to ensure the consistent delivery of accurate and reliable laboratory results. Please note: The schedule for this position is flexible with either Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM, or Monday-Thursday 7AM-5PM.

What You'll Need:

• Current FloridaLicense as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in Chemistry, Hematology, and Immunology (Serology)
• ASCP Medical Technologist certification is a plus!
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a healthcare laboratory setting
