Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist for Franklin, WI, operating on a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule (Wednesday - Tuesday, 9:00pm - 7:00am) with rotating holidays. The role involves venipuncture across all ages, specimen collection for diverse tests, accurate data entry, and customer-focused service.

Responsibilities include processing billing, preparing specimens, maintaining logs, and potential travel to additional sites.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 6+ months experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Job Details

Location: Franklin, WI.
Work Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off. Wednesday - Tuesday, 9:00pm - 7:00am. Rotating Holidays.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
  • Travel to additional sites when needed
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
Additional Job Standards
  • In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
