Job summary

Synectics Inc. in Chico, CA seeks a Patient Services Representative I to be the face of the company for patients, performing phlebotomy and preparing specimens for lab testing while explaining procedures to patients to foster trust.

Under the area supervisor, you will complete daily activities accurately, maintain a safe environment, and keep meticulous records. California phlebotomy certification is preferred, with 6 months minimum experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months experience required.
• One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
