Job summary

Chandler Regional Medical Center, a 443-bed acute care hospital, seeks a dedicated Phlebotomist to obtain and prepare specimens for analysis in support of outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and emergency department patients. You will work under supervision in a fast-paced laboratory environment, using a handheld computer to ensure patient safety and accuracy.

Accredited phlebotomy training with national certification preferred, with growth opportunities within Dignity Health’s mission-driven

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and/or prepare specimens for analysis.
• Operate a state-of-the-art handheld computer to ensure patient safety.
• Support the lab in providing accurate, timely results for outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and emergency department patients.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Phlebotomist , you will help the Laboratory obtain and/or prepare specimens for analysis so they can provide accurate laboratory services vital for outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and emergency department patients.

Every day you will work under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, obtaining and/or preparing specimens for analysis. You will be expected to use a state-of-the-art wireless handheld computer to ensure patient safety and actively participate in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

To be successful in this role, you must be a dynamic Phlebotomist who is passionate about the health and well-being of our patients and have completed an accredited phlebotomy program (with national certification being preferred).

Job Requirements

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)

Preferred

• Previous experience in a health-related field
• Phlebotomy Cert
