Job summary

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist to obtain and prepare specimens for analysis, supporting accurate laboratory results for outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and ED patients.

You will work under the Phlebotomy Supervisor, using a wireless handheld computer to keep patient safety at the forefront and to fulfill the hospital’s mission of compassionate care. A accredited phlebotomy program and national certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program and national certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomist responsibilities include specimen collection and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and/or prepare specimens for analysis under supervision.
• Operate a wireless handheld device to document and ensure patient safety.
• Provide compassionate patient care and support throughout phlebotomy procedures.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Phlebotomist, you will help the Laboratory obtain and/or prepare specimens for analysis so they can provide accurate laboratory services vital for outpatient, inpatient, surgery, and emergency department patients.

Every day you will work under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, obtaining and/or preparing specimens for analysis. You will be expected to use a state-of-the‑art wireless handheld computer to ensure patient safety and actively participate in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

To be successful in this role, you must be a dynamic Phlebotomist who is passionate about the health and well‑being of our patients and have completed an accredited phlebotomy program (with national certification being preferred).

Job Requirements

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)

Preferred

• Previous experience in a health‑related field
• Phlebotomy Cert
