Job summary

Saratoga Medical Center is hiring a Phlebotomist in Austin, TX. This is a great full-time opportunity with a 40 hours per week schedule, Monday to Friday, excluding Federal holidays.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws for inpatient patients in mental health units, providing laboratory support, and maintaining professional conduct with patients with mental illness and related conditions. Must follow Texas HHSC and facility policies and complete required trainings.

Qualifications

• Perform blood draws for inpatient patients in the Mental Health Units.
• Provide laboratory support services as assigned.
• Work professionally with patients experiencing mental illness, IDD, chemical dependency, and other social or physical disorders.
• Follow applicable Texas Lab Technician rules and HHSC and facility policies.
• Complete required facility training and clearance procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
