Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist for Augusta, GA. The role involves drawing blood from patients of all ages, preparing specimens for testing, and maintaining accurate patient logs.

You will also handle data entry, billing, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced clinical setting. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or completed training, with 3+ months of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Position

Phlebotomist – Augusta, GA.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm with rotating Saturday's 7:00am - 11:00am.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
