CarePartners Health Services in Asheville, NC seeks a Phlebotomist to join our hospital-based lab team. You will perform venipuncture, collect blood samples, and serve as a liaison between patients, physicians, nursing staff and laboratory personnel.
Required high school diploma or GED, completed phlebotomy training, and one year hospital lab experience; ASPT/ASCP certification preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Represents the hospital and department by serving as an interface between the client (patient, physicians, nursing, etc.), and laboratory technical areas. Performs a variety of venipuncture techniques involved in the collection of blood specimens from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Ensures proper patient care by prioritizing physician orders and collecting blood as required.
