HNL Lab Medicine seeks a clinical support technician to collect specimens and perform registration and processing under general supervision. This role includes venipuncture, patient assistance, and maintaining an orderly work area while supporting the team.
Responsibilities include preparing orders, transporting specimens, assisting training, travel to sites within 25 miles, and per diem scheduling. Requires a high school diploma and 6 months to 2 years of related experience; bilingual Spanish
Current PSC Hours are Monday - Friday 7am-3pm, scheduled variable hours with Saturday Rotation 7am-11am.
Collects clinical laboratory specimens and performs tasks associated with patient registration, order entry and specimen processing with general supervision. Performs waived testing with general supervision. Provides logistical support to team members and general assistance to customers.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 6 months to 2 years related experience and/or training preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Bilingual and able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently may be required based on service location.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software.
Must be accessible to appropriate and reliable transportation to perform essential duties and responsibilities. Certification required by the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support to include adult, child and infant. Certification will be provided if needed.
