• Equivalency: official master’s transcript and 24 semester units in discipline at upper-division/grad level, with 12 graduate units.

Philosophy Instructor Adjunct

We are accepting applications for the Philosophy Instructor Adjunct Applicant Pool at College of the Canyons. Adjunct positions are as needed and do not accrue tenure rights.

Qualifications & Minimum Requirements

• Possession of an unexpired California Community College Instructor Credential in Philosophy.
• OR Master’s in Philosophy.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and master’s degree in Humanities or Religious Studies.
• OR Equivalency: an official transcript of a master’s degree from an accredited institution and transcripts for at least 24 semester units in the discipline at upper‑division and graduate level, with at least 12 graduate‑level units.

Assignment Details

Assignments may include Monday through Friday (day or evening) and Saturday classes. Salary starts at $89.24 per hour.
