Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (master’s or doctorate) in philosophy, with expertise in the history of philosophy, logic (including propositional and first-order predicate logic), ethics, and the philosophy of religion.
• Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to and potential for excellence in teaching, as shown through student evaluations, courses taught, and other academic experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach students and provide subject-matter expertise for the BYU-Idaho Philosophy minor.
• Advise students and participate in department and university assignments.
