The Per Diem Echocardiograph Technologist is responsible for acquiring and interpreting m-mode, 2-D, pulse and continuous Doppler and color Doppler echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms, as well as completing echo worksheets and performing all necessary calculations in a timely manner.

  • Staff member will be responsible for the care of adult and geriatric patients.
  • Each staff member will rely on his/her past experiences, as well as their professional training with the geriatric and adult patient, to meet these standards.
  • Staff training will be reinforced by the following methods:
  • continuing education required to keep a Current Registry status
  • video/digital presentations (both in the hospital and outside)
  • seminars and conferences addressing cutting edge technology as well as reinforcement of the basics

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $45 - $45 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
