The Marine Biologist will join a holistic, church‑planting team in the Philippines to oversee a coral reef restoration project to reach Filipinos who want to preserve their way of life. As a Marine Scientist specializing in reef, coral, and turtle conservation, you will lead and contribute to research efforts aimed at the preservation and restoration of these delicate marine ecosystems. Use the platform of Creation Care to build relationships and partnerships with local stakeholders, share your testimony, and start Bible studies.

Ideal Candidate

• Christian maturity: Exemplify Christ‑like character and leadership competency
• In‑depth knowledge of reef ecosystems, coral biology, and turtle conservation.
• Experience in grant writing
• Strong research and data analysis skills
• Ability to lead and train a dive team to conduct species surveys and inventories
• Strong research background with a demonstrated track record of publication in reputable scientific journal(s)
• Expertise in marine fieldwork techniques, data collection, and statistical analysis
• Familiarity with coral reef assessment methods and restoration techniques
• Certified scuba diver
• Advanced degree in Marine Biology (can be working towards a doctorate degree)
• Experience with field work in remote coastal communities
• Active in church/ministries and has some cross‑cultural experience
