Job summary

United Way of Greater Charlotte seeks a Manager of Philanthropy and Donor Relations Administration to provide high-level administrative and project support to the Chief Philanthropy and Marketing Officer. The role ensures smooth execution of philanthropic initiatives and collaboration across the PDE team.

You will coordinate calendars, prepare materials for board meetings and donor engagements, and lead cross-functional projects, driving strategic priorities and timely follow-through.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of admin, project management, or operations experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven org.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to facilitate collaboration across departments.
• Strong organizational skills with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive administrative support to the Chief Philanthropy and Marketing Officer.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects with timelines and deliverables.
• Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and follow-up docs.
• Draft/edit communications and reports for leadership.
• Lead project plans and manage risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate interdepartmental workflows to align priorities.
