Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle is seeking a Philanthropy Officer to manage a balanced donor portfolio, solicit major gifts of $25,000+ and oversee planned gifts, including annuities and trusts.

You will work with Foundation staff, the Administrator, Foundation board members, and others in fund development. The role supports Providence's mission to care for the vulnerable and offers a collaborative, inclusive environment with opportunities for professional growth and a comprehensive

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • 3 years of development experience with successful results soliciting major gifts for a nonprofit.
  • Experience with planned gifts and donor documentation is preferred.

Description

The Philanthropy Officer is responsible for all aspects of management of a balanced portfolio of donors with the ability to solicit major gifts $25,000 and above as well as planned gifts ranging from annuities, supporting charitable remainder trusts and estate intentions and documentation. This individual will work collaboratively with other Foundation staff, the Administrator, Foundation board members, and others engaged in the process of fund development.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent educ/experience
  • 3 years of Development experience with successful results soliciting individual and foundation major gifts, for a not-for-profit organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year development experience in the healthcare field.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
