The Boston Foundation’s Philanthropic Initiative is seeking an intern to contribute to client engagements and field leadership work, specifically the Invest for Better – Women Lead the Way in Impact Investing initiative.

The internship offers 10–25 hours per week with compensation of $15 per hour. The role involves campaign outreach, grants research and client support activities, and requires strong writing, research, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in progress required; current graduate school student preferred.
• Strong writing, research and organizational skills required.
• Knowledge of and interest in philanthropy.
• Ability to plan, think analytically, pay attention to detail and follow through.
• Self-motivation and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with social media content creation and platform management.

Responsibilities

• Invest for Better Initiative: support outreach, social media strategies, partnerships, conferences and events, and grow pledgers.
• Organization, outreach and administration for project overall.
• Grants management support for clients.
