Laurel Ridge Community College is seeking a Director of Philanthropy to secure charitable support and raise the college's public profile across the service region. The role fronts donor engagement, portfolio management, and donor communications, reporting to the Associate VP of Development and the Laurel Ridge Educational Foundation.

Qualifications

• Extensive fundraising experience in nonprofit/education settings.
• Ability to secure major gifts and manage donor portfolios.
• Strong written proposals and external communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage a donor and prospect pipeline with discipline.
• Identify prospective donors through networking, referrals, community engagement, and research.
• Cultivate prospective donors and steward existing donor relationships.
• Personally solicit and secure philanthropic commitments, including major and planned gifts.
• Develop donor proposals, presentations, solicitations, stewardship materials, and other communications.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to promote philanthropy.
