Job summary

Daviess Community Hospital Foundation seeks a Visionary Foundation Director to lead a comprehensive philanthropic strategy supporting the hospital's mission. You will align initiatives with the CEO and Foundation Board, strengthen community ties, and drive long-term giving.

This role oversees fundraising campaigns, donor cultivation and stewardship, Foundation events, and grant activities while ensuring responsible use of resources and high visibility in the community.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of two years of fundraising or nonprofit development experience preferred.
Experience with donor cultivation and stewardship preferred.
Healthcare or nonprofit sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of a philanthropic strategy to increase charitable giving.
Oversee Foundation operations and collaborate with the CEO and Foundation Board on priorities.
Manage donor cultivation, stewardship programs, and donor recognition efforts.
Plan and manage fundraising events, grant activities, and financial resources to grow impact.
