Job summary

Taylor Root Global Legal Recruitment seeks an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney for a contract or contract-to-hire position in Philadelphia, onsite. You will handle a wide range of employment matters with limited oversight and collaborate with internal stakeholders on risk management.

Required are a J.D. from an accredited law school, active Pennsylvania bar admission, and prior employment-law experience. Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active and in-good-standing Pennsylvania bar.
• Experience handling employment law matters.
• Ability to work onsite in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of employment and workplace matters
• Review and draft employment agreements, policies, handbooks, and related documentation
• Counsel on employee relations, workplace investigations, discipline, termination, and compliance matters
• Provide guidance regarding federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Assist with employment-related disputes, claims, and pre-litigation matters
• Partner with internal stakeholders on day-to-day employment issues and risk management
• Support additional legal matters as needed
