Required are a J.D. from an accredited law school, active Pennsylvania bar admission, and prior employment-law experience. Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills are essential for success.

• Counsel on employee relations, workplace investigations, discipline, termination, and compliance matters
• Provide guidance regarding federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Assist with employment-related disputes, claims, and pre-litigation matters
• Partner with internal stakeholders on day-to-day employment issues and risk management
• Support additional legal matters as needed

Salary: USD45 - USD48 per hour + Benefits and Bonus/Commission

A boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join its legal team on a contract or contract-to-hire basis. This is a fully onsite opportunity in Philadelphia for an attorney who can step in quickly and handle a range of employment-related matters with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of employment and workplace matters
• Review and draft employment agreements, policies, handbooks, and related documentation
• Counsel on employee relations, workplace investigations, discipline, termination, and compliance matters
• Provide guidance regarding federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Assist with employment-related disputes, claims, and pre-litigation matters
• Partner with internal stakeholders on day-to-day employment issues and risk management
• Support additional legal matters as needed

Qualifications
