Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in health information field as stated in qualifications.
• Minimum of four (4) years of directly-related work experience with emphasis on technology and management.
• Certification in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS), Certified Compliance Professional (CCP), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), RHIT or RHIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exercises independent judgment in case investigation and interviews regarding privacy concerns.
• Analyzes systems and processes for prevention and mitigation of privacy issues.
• Maintains detailed case documentation to support findings and actions.
• Travels to Covenant Health facilities to investigate privacy activities.
• Monitors HIPAA risk assessments and audits; responds to privacy concerns and releases of information.

Education
