Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking summer interns for a ~10 week program in New Brunswick, NJ, working on novel analytical methods, separation science, and PAT for drug product development. Interns will develop, troubleshoot, and execute methods, analyze data, and collaborate with formulation scientists, analysts, and engineers.

Program includes orientation, mentor program, hands-on training in manufacturing and testing labs, and a final presentation.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited university for Summer 2027 seeking a PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Physical Chemistry, Materials Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.
• Must graduate between Fall 2027 and 2028.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater must be shown on resume.

Responsibilities

• Develop, troubleshoot, and execute analytical methods for drug product development.
• Analyze, review, and document data in compliance with company requirements.
• Collaborate with formulation scientists, analytical chemists, process engineers, and process modelers.
• Attend mentor-guided research projects and present results at the end of the internship.
