Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon seeks a Software Solutions Engineering PhD Intern to develop integrated software solutions blending system‑level understanding with application development. You will collaborate with hardware, firmware and customer teams to deliver scalable, optimized software across diverse workloads.

Responsibilities include architecture support, prototyping, performance analysis, and improving reporting and UI assets for reporting tools.

Qualifications

Must be pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or related field.
Proficiency in Python and SQL for programming, analytics and reporting.
Basic understanding of semiconductor defect analysis workflows.
Familiarity with JSL and Power BI for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

Develop integrated software solutions by combining system-level understanding with application development.
Assist in solution architecture design, feature prototyping, and performance analysis.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and customer engineering teams to deliver scalable and optimized solutions.
Refactor, consolidate, and standardize yield reports and reports tooling.
