Job summary

Stryker Corporation in the United States is seeking Ph.D.-trained scientists to join its Business Development team. This field-based role combines scientific expertise with client-facing work across immuno-oncology, animal model gene engineering and preclinical pharmacology.

No prior business development experience is required; candidates should be able to build relationships, travel for meetings and conferences, and translate scientific insights into customer solutions.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in bioscience-related field.
• Mandarin language skills required (speaking and writing).
• Hands-on mouse model research experience required.
• Strong wet-lab and direct research experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and events.
• Previous business development experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of the company's scientific technologies, products and services.
• Build relationships with scientists and decision-makers at biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.
• Identify customer research needs and connect them with scientific solutions.
• Develop new business opportunities and support discussions, proposals, negotiations and contracts.
• Attend scientific conferences, trade shows and industry events.
• Partner with Marketing to increase awareness of the company's capabilities within the life sciences community.
