Job summary
TikTok is seeking PhD internship candidates for the Knowledge Graph team in San Jose to contribute to neural network research for e-commerce. You will help categorize products, influencers, merchants, and mine product information to support recommendations, while leading graph- and tag-related tasks.
Qualifying candidates are PhD students in related fields with experience in LLM/NLP, graph embeddings, ML, and Python/PyTorch/TensorFlow.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in LLM, NLP, NER, MT, QA, knowledge graph, information extraction, text mining or classification.
- Computer vision, facial recognition, multimodal learning, object detection/tracking, image classification.
- Machine learning topics including transfer learning, graph embedding, RL, recommendation.
- Strong coding in Python/Java/C/C++, Spark; familiar with PyTorch or TensorFlow/Keras.
Responsibilities
- Craft intricate knowledge graphs for product/content insights and brand/SPU development.
- Architect knowledge maps detailing buyer and product connections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research and development.
