Dow Inc. invites PhD students and engineers to join a digital internship program in Texas, with hybrid or remote options across North America. You will work in one of Dow’s key functions — R&D, ISC, M&E, IS, or EHS&S — solving data-science driven challenges.

You will tackle formulation property prediction, manufacturing efficiency, and platform modernization, collaborating with domain experts to accelerate digital transformation at a global materials leader.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• A minimum GPA of 3.00 (on a scale of 4.000) in current graduate school.

Responsibilities

• Solve diverse, open-ended problems to accelerate the digital evolution at Dow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-priority projects in R&D, ISC, M&E, IS or EHS&S.
• Contribute to product/process research, application development, operations improvements, safety and sustainability initiatives.
