Dow Inc. invites PhD candidates to join a digital internship in Texas with hybrid or remote work arrangements.

You will be aligned to one of Dow’s key functions—R&D, ISC, M&E, IS, or EHS&S—and tackle open-ended problems alongside domain experts to accelerate Dow’s digital evolution. The role seeks capabilities in computer science, analytics, ML, data science, and related disciplines, applying them to formulation property predictions, manufacturing efficiency, and software platform

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or other related disciplines.
Preferred GPA of 3.00 or higher in current graduate program.

Responsibilities

Solve diverse, open-ended problems to accelerate the digital evolution at Dow.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply data science and engineering expertise.
Contribute to projects spanning product and process research, operations improvements, safety, sustainability, and supply chain optimization.
