Job summary

Dow Inc. invites PhD candidates from chemistry, engineering, materials science, polymer science, and data science to join a digital internship across North America.

You will solve open-ended problems with domain experts, accelerating the digital evolution of Dow’s manufacturing and R&D platforms. The program targets students with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, and offers exposure to multiple functions including R&D, ISC, operations, IS, and EHS&S, with flexible hybrid or remote

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Data Science or related disciplines.
• Minimum GPA of 3.00 (on a 4.0 scale) in current graduate study.
• Must be eligible to comply with U.S. export control laws and may require TWIC eligibility depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Tackles diverse, open-ended problems and accelerates digital evolution of a global materials leader.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to solve chemical, material, and industrial challenges through research and applied work.
• Contributes to projects across product/process research, safety, sustainability, and supply chain optimization.
