Job summary

Dow Inc. offers a digital internship for PhD scientists and engineers aligned to R&D, ISC, M&E, IS, or EHS&S across North America. You will solve open-ended problems, accelerate digital evolution, and collaborate with domain experts to tackle chemistry, materials science, and industrial challenges.

You will work on projects ranging from formulation property predictions to manufacturing process efficiency, with a strong emphasis on safety and sustainability. Eligible candidates pursue a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Minimum GPA of 3.00 (on a 4.000 scale) in current graduate studies.

Responsibilities

• Solve diverse, open-ended problems to accelerate digital evolution at Dow.
• Collaborate with domain experts to deliver high-priority projects.
• Develop and apply data science, analytics, and modeling approaches across R&D, ISC, M&E, IS, and EHS&S.
