Job summary

Dow Inc. offers a digital internship for PhD scientists and engineers across North America, with opportunities in R&D, ISC, M&E, Commercial, IS or EHS&S. You will work with domain experts to solve chemical, material, and industrial problems, accelerating digital progress and delivering high-priority projects.

You will engage in product/process research, application development, and sustainability initiatives, with both fundamental and applied research exposure in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Ph.D. degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
• Preferred GPA 3.00 on a 4.0 scale in current graduate studies.

Responsibilities

• Solve diverse, open-ended problems to accelerate the digital evolution of Dow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Dow to deliver high-priority projects.
• Develop expertise as an industrial researcher in product/process research, analytics, and sustainability.
