Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, MD seeks a PhD-level Computer Scientist and Researcher to develop software for warfighter capabilities, collaborating directly with end users to move concepts to operational use.

Responsibilities

  • Research, propose, and develop concepts to solve unaddressed military operational shortfalls in a team.
  • Devise algorithms and design software for proof-of-concept prototypes across multiple engineering domains.
  • Conduct prototype analysis and evaluation, including operations at military facilities.
