Job summary

Syenex is hiring a Scientific Commercial Partner, a recent PhD eager to move beyond the bench into strategy and sales. You’ll engage with cell and gene therapy developers, translate our delivery technology into compelling value, and help shape early commercial motions with ownership over accounts.

You’ll work between our scientific and commercial teams, identify opportunities, support comparative experiments, and travel roughly 30–50% to meet customers and attend conferences.

Qualifications

• PhD or master's degree in biology or related field required.
• Experience in science-to-business translation is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills demanded.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of biotech accounts and build trusted relationships with scientists and leaders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and networking at events.
• Translate delivery technology into compelling technical and commercial messaging.
• Support deal progression with the Head of Commercial through negotiations and proposals.
• Travel 30–50% for customer visits and conferences.
