Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Polymer Science/Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
• Safe execution of laboratory processes with hazard identification.
• Expertise in analytical chemistry problem solving and techniques.
• Creative problem solving capabilities for complex chemistries and processes.
• Strong communication to distill data for diverse groups and stakeholders.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with applications R&D, manufacturing, quality and business partners to provide analytical testing solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced team to deliver safe, effective analytical solutions for internal partners or customers.
• Develop research plans and design experiments for multiple product lines.
• Elucidate analytical solutions for scale-up and manufacturing of new or existing products.
• Anticipate technical difficulties and develop creative solutions.
• Prepare technical presentations and reports for internal use and patent applications; support external research.
• Prepare and present written and oral reports to communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to safely execute technical projects and direct technicians.
