SavATree in Colorado is seeking a Plant Health Care Specialist to monitor, diagnose, and treat tree and shrub health issues within a specific territory. A typical day includes inspecting plants, applying treatments, and educating clients about landscape care.

The role suits someone who enjoys the outdoors, problem-solving, and protecting the environment. A degree in arboriculture or related field is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and willingness to obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass—or related experience (preferred)
  • The ability to work independently with responsibility and care
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to engage with clients effectively
  • Willingness to learn plant/tree identification and safe equipment use
  • Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licenses
  • Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to operate service-line vehicles

Position Summary
