An established industry player is seeking an Advanced UT Technician to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in nondestructive testing, particularly with phased array and TOFD methods, to ensure the integrity of critical infrastructures. Acuren Inspection is currently recruiting for an Advanced UT Technician with Phased Array certification and TOFD experience. This position is broad in scope, with direct exposure to many aspects of the NDE industry.
Approximately 90% of this role will be spent in the field or field office and 10% spent at the division. The Technician will work independently for extended periods in support of clients' programs. Primarily, they will be performing calibrations, nondestructive tests, evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions, and recording results; performing tests outside the normal requirements of NDT.
Must be familiar with the scope and limitations of the test/inspection method being used and should exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Assistants and Level I PLI Technicians.
