Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Antenna Systems Engineer in Redmond to own design, simulation, calibration, and optimization of phased array antenna systems. You will collaborate with RF, digital, and modem teams to drive end-to-end performance from modeling to lab validation.

Responsibilities include developing calibration algorithms, performing trade-off analyses, and validating designs with lab measurements. Strong software, DSP, and RF knowledge are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with relevant coursework.
• Experience with DSP, RF system design.
• Experience with lab equipment and test benches.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing phased array calibration systems, signals, processing and algorithms.
• Performance analysis and design trade-off studies of phased arrays.
• End-to-end modeling, simulation and analysis of baseband/RF/antenna systems.
• Lab measurement and validation of performance of antennas and phased array systems.
• Working with antenna, modem, RF and Digital teams to simulate, measure and fine-tune radio designs.
