Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research in Decatur, GA is seeking a Research Assistant - Phase 1 to support CRCs, Site Manager, Principal Investigators, and staff in compliance with GCP, ICH, HIPAA, FDA, and SOPs. The RA will perform clinical, lab, and administrative tasks for Phase 1 operations at the site.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient screening and follow-up visits, documenting in source charts, entering data in EDC, obtaining vital signs and ECGs, and coordinating recruitment and

Qualifications

Medical Assistant diploma or CMA/LPN/LVN/EMT credential with 1+ year of clinical experience.
Proficiency in basic clinical procedures (blood pressure, vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy) and BLS/ACLS certification.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with basic screening of patients for study enrollment.
Assist with patient follow-up visits.
Document in source clinic charts.
Enter data in EDC and respond to queries.
Obtain vital signs and ECGs.
Coordinate scheduling and reminders for study visits.
Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Support CRCs and staff as needed.
