Position Summary
The Pharmacy Warehouse Clerk is responsible for shipping, receiving, packing, and coordinating with couriers to ensure timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Monitor and coordinate activities of CAPS drivers, couriers, and FedEx deliveries.
- Pack products to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring scheduled delivery times are met.
- Maintain the warehouse, including basic cleaning support to the pharmacy.
- Handle product disposal and destruction.
- Maintain and file packing lists.
- Participate in pharmacy product/supply activities for clean room use.
- Perform material receiving, stocking, and shipping.
- Pass annual eye exam.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
- Work is routine, repetitious, and performed within narrowly defined parameters.
- Follows established procedures and guidelines; typically receives detailed instructions.
- Works are monitored on a routine basis.
- Limited problem‑solving required; contact primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers.
- Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.
Schedule
8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday and every other weekend. Holidays/overtime as needed.
Salary
$18.54 – $19.90 per hour.
Education and Professional Knowledge
High school diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent required.
Experience
2–4 years of related experience required. cGMP training/experience desired; training will be provided.
Certification
None required.
Physical Demands
Moderate work – Exerts up to 40 lb up to 20 lb frequently, and 10 lb constantly to move objects.
- Occasionally: Sit and climb stairs/ladders.
- Frequently: Reaching upward and downward, push/pull, stand, handle, finger feeling, walking, talking (ordinary, loud, quick).
- Constantly: Visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses), hearing (ordinary, fine distinction, loud – hearing protection required), seeing (depth perception, color vision, field of vision/peripheral).
