Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a pharmacy clerk to provide exceptional customer service and support in a busy retail setting. You will assist with reception, data entry, product dispensing and basic billing procedures, while upholding HIPAA and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include answering inquiries, maintaining clean work areas, and assisting the pharmacist with duties that do not require professional judgement. Commitment to accuracy and customer care is essential.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Must be 18 years old.
Ability to handle highly confidential information.
Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.
Desired: any previous comparable experience.
Desired: any equivalent experience of a pharmacy clerk.
Desired: EPRN familiarity.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service and help customers and employees in a fair and ethical manner.
Maintain clean and compliant work stations and customer waiting areas.
Assist pharmacist in responsibilities and general duties except those requiring professional judgement.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
Perform reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing steps accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash and tender transactions following company policies.
