Job summary

Avita Care Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist with preparing and dispensing medications and to provide patient care and education. The role is based at our Wilton Manors, FL location with a Monday–Friday, 10 AM–6 PM schedule and a sign-on bonus eligible.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, verifying insurance, handling billing, and maintaining positive patient relationships in a fast-paced environment. Spanish bilingual candidates are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in health field preferred.
• 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Must be licensed/registered with Florida Board of Pharmacy.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Spanish bilingual ability highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove drugs from stock and prepare medications.
• Label containers and handle packaging.
• Enter prescription data into computer systems.
• Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing.
• Coordinate prescription deliveries and follow up on status.
