Job summary

Thrifty White Pharmacy is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to join our team in Minnesota. This role offers training through our Technician-in-Training program, with opportunities for advancement and competitive wages.

You will assist pharmacists, handle prescriptions, and help patients with Ready Refill and Medication Synchronization programs, while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to enroll in Thrifty White’s Pharmacy Technician Training Program (Technician-in-Training).

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
• Champions Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assists with enrolling patients.
• Supports the Pharmacist in Clinical Service offerings.
• Counts, measures, and packages medication in the appropriate container under pharmacist’s supervision and final approval to accurately fill prescriptions.
• Inputs prescriptions into the computer for accurate transmission to insurance companies.
