Job summary

Vetsource is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I (Trainee, Licensed or Certified) for our mail-order operations in the Portland, OR area. The role supports daily dispensing, unit-dose packaging, and order fulfillment under supervision of licensed pharmacists and technicians.

You will work on-site 40 hours per week, with a schedule Mon-Fri 7:30 am–4:00 pm PT and rotating Saturdays. Entry point into the pharmacy field with comprehensive training and full reimbursement for license fees.

Qualifications

• Willingness to apply for your State Pharmacy Technician license within the first 30 days of employment.
• Licensed or Certified Tech status required or pursued in state of employment.
• High School diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with daily order dispensing following pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Handle unit-dose packaging and tablet filling.
• Pick and label prescription orders for shipping.
• Package and ship orders to customers or clinics.
• Perform basic receiving functions and rotate between stations within the pharmacy.
• Assist in production tasks by building compliance units for veterinary products.
• Restock and clean workstations in preparation for subsequent shifts.
• Participate in scheduled inventories and recycling efforts.
