JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Trainee to join a collaborative team dedicated to safe, accurate and efficient patient care. You will help build a service‑miented pharmacy team focused on strong patient relationships and outstanding outcomes.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, assisting with in‑person and phone orders, maintaining compliance with policies, and supporting inventory and label creation processes. Training and regulatory adherence are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or Licensing: Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with the applicable state board of pharmacy.
• Experience: 0 to 6 months.
• Age: At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and acknowledge them with compassion at all entry points.
• Assist in processing orders in person and by phone, referring questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a neat, compliant work environment and follow all policies.
• Assist team members to ensure the department runs efficiently.
• Use the pharmacy computer to manage prescriptions, fill dates, stock levels and invoices.
• Support the team in improving outcomes using service and business metrics.
• Complete required training and exams, and follow HIPAA and regulatory policies.
• Finalize sales at the point of sale following procedures.
• Transcribe prescription data to generate customer labels.
• Maintain inventory by ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating drugs and supplies.
• Answer calls promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve questions through effective communication with customers and staff.
• File written prescriptions daily.
