Qualifications

• 0–6 months experience in pharmacy or retail setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with the state board of pharmacy.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with compassion and a friendly smile at all entry points.
• Assist customers with prescriptions, questions, and over-the-counter items, referring to the pharmacist as needed.
• Maintain a neat, compliant work environment to meet company and government requirements (HIPAA, etc.).
• Support team members to keep the department running efficiently.
• Use pharmacy software to process prescriptions, check inventory, and handle orders at drop-off, pick-up, drive-thru, and phone.
• Contribute to improving outcomes by following service and business metrics.
