Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Pharmacy Technician I licensure in Rhode Island prior to first day of training.
• CPhT certification within six months of program completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and delivering medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
• Complete RI BOP approved training program and certification exams on schedule.
• Perform inventory control and distribution tasks using central pharmacy systems and automated cabinets.
• Support with medication repackaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Triage calls and maintain strong customer service with internal and external customers.
• Comply with USP, NIOSH, and Brown University Health policies.
