Job Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and acknowledge them with compassion and a smile at all pharmacy entry points.
• Model excellent patient care by respecting, engaging, and meeting or exceeding patient needs, including processing orders, directing patients to products, and referring questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to meet company and government standards.
• Assist team members to ensure efficient department operations.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete tasks such as searching for patient profiles, managing prescriptions, quoting prices, and checking inventory.
• Contribute to improving outcomes using service and business metrics.
• Participate in company initiatives and complete required training and exams.
• Follow all relevant policies, laws, and regulations, including HIPAA and pseudoephedrine sales.
• Finalize sales accurately using the cash register.
• Transcribe prescription data to generate customer labels.
• Assist with inventory management by ordering, receiving, and rotating stock.
• Answer phone calls politely and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns effectively.
• File prescriptions daily.
