Job Responsibilities

1. Welcome patients and acknowledge them with compassion and a smile at all pharmacy entry points.
2. Model excellent patient care by respecting, engaging, and meeting or exceeding all patient needs, including processing orders, directing patients to products, and referring questions to the pharmacist.
3. Maintain a neat and clean work environment to meet company and government requirements.
4. Assist team members with tasks to ensure department efficiency.
5. Use the pharmacy computer to complete actions such as searching for patient profiles, determining prescription fill and pickup dates, checking inventory, and entering invoices.
6. Assist in improving outcomes using service and business metrics.
7. Participate in all company initiatives and training programs.
8. Follow all relevant policies, laws, and regulations, including HIPAA and pseudoephedrine sales.
9. Complete sales transactions according to procedures.
10. Accurately transcribe prescription data to generate customer labels.
11. Help maintain inventory levels by ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating supplies.
12. Answer phone calls politely and ensure customer satisfaction.
13. Resolve customer questions and concerns effectively.
14. File written prescriptions daily.
