Job summary

Salud Family Health in Brighton, CO is seeking a Temporary Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in dispensing medications and supporting a team-based care approach. The position runs through May 2027 with Monday–Friday, 8:15 am–5:15 pm hours and an hourly wage range of $21 to $26.50.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, state certification as a Pharmacy Technician, and some pharmacy experience. Comprehensive benefits and retirement plans are highlighted in the package.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are looking for a TemporaryPharmacy Technicianto join our family inBrighton, CO.

Your job will be to assist the Pharmacist in dispensing medication to customers and patients according to prescribed methods. The Pharmacy Technician approaches his/her tasks in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change.

Temporary Assignment:

• Date of Hire to May 2027

Qualifications

What you need to be qualified for this job:

• Computer skills required include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for email, basic Internet knowledge, and multi-line phone experience

Education:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent

Experience:

• One year of general pharmacy experience working as a Pharmacy Technician is desired

Certification:

• A Pharmacy Technician must obtain a certification or provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (Board)
• It is a job requirement that applicants/new hires comply with this regulation and receive this certification or provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (Board) before their start date
• If granted a provisional certification, the employee must pass their CPHT examination in the time frame required by the State Board of Pharmacy. (18 months), or be granted an extension by the State Board, allowing them to maintain their provisional licensure. Valid and current licensure by the state must be maintained to ensure continued employment
