Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed/certified pharmacy technician per TX State Board.
• PTCB certification and sterile compounding credentials.
• BLS certification and pharmacy tech credentials.

Responsibilities

• Refill Pyxis Med stations and anesthesia systems; load/unload meds.
• Send daily electronic drug orders to wholesalers; manage inventory.
• Enter purchase orders in CPSI and record receipts.
• Assist in verifying controlled med documentation and reporting.
• Register Bio ID for new anesthesia providers and create Pyxis kits.
• Verify charges and manage inventory, temps, and recalls.
• Prepare unit-dose meds and sterile preparations under supervision.
