Job summary

The Pharmacy Technician at Druid City Infusion, part of the Vital Care Infusion Services network, plays a critical role in supporting pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing of medications in hospital and retail settings. You will manage prescription orders, prepare and label medications, and maintain sterile environments to uphold patient safety.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification; preferred experience in hospital or retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPhT certification from an accredited program or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication safety.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule sterile admixture preparation under Pharmacist guidance.
• Prepare labels, prescriptions, and compounding worksheets; document lot numbers and expiry dates.
• Maintain sterile environments and ensure patient safety in dispensing medications.
• Communicate with patients, pharmacists, and healthcare providers to ensure timely service.
